Lakeside sunrise before T-storms
Nothing like midwest thunderstorms to bring weirdly unstable air, clouds and wonderful sunrises.
Before the sunrise, a few clouds, and a sliver of a moon …
As the sun rose, different clouds rolled in and the sun went back and forth behind them.
As it came above the treetops, the redness followed
And then, …. the sun seemingly like a magnet pulls the clouds toward itself

Living on the lake creates some interesting questions … like, why is the lake so very low? What would make the lake level so much lower than the piers, boats and shoreline? Climate or weather? Human activity? All of the above? … it’s tragic for the homeowner for sure, but if this water is so low, what about all the water needed for trees, birds and animals … and the health of our earth?
I walk this lake 2x every year, spring and fall, and I have never seen it that low. And without any birds but a few geese.

A mixture of reactions; the sunrise is dramatic in a positive way and then, the lakeshore is dramatic in such a negative way. What a difference in pictures and reactions.
