A heron found a pier to keep its feet dry and a male loon was leading a female away for a party … she was too far behind to photo. Every day, there were almost 10 deer somewhere around the farms eating leftovers and very interested in my flashing red headlamp.

The lake has its own beauty as well, especially early morning
