Ridgeline Trail above the fog

ByMichael Goatbells November 8, 2024November 8, 2024

Today started foggy in the valley but the fog stayed on the valley floor and soon disappeared. A great day to hike Ridgeline Trail.

The Route

Another hike started after breakfast, around 7:30 from Spring Blvd TH. Then to Spencer Top and down to S. Willamette TH; back to Spencer Top and then down to N. Willamette TH; back 1/2 to Spencer Top then back to Spring Blvd.

Left Spring Blvd TH just as the sun topped the ridge

Traffic and Conditions

Trail conditions were perfect – just enough moisture without mud. Human traffic was only material around Spencer Top. A couple too many dogs and some without leash.

The Fog

Early in the morning while still quite cold, dew hung heavy in the sun
