Early morning Pre’s Trail

Hot weather in the upper 80s lower 90s landed in the valley for a couple of days, so an early morning jaunt along Pre’s Trail seemed like a good idea. – All this walking right from my front door.

The birds were out in force early before the heat. Merlin recorded songs 2x and each time was different. The first session had these birds – the Osprey I did not hear until I saw it listed and then listened more carefully

The second recording had different birds just a few minutes later – except that Robin is everywhere!

Baby geese where plentiful and almost always following an adult closely

Great blue herons were nesting and if you look closely a baby is in the nest, and hunting / fishing took priority.

Flowers were amazing and in all shapes, sizes and colors
