Mt Hood 2024
During 2024 hiking season, I took two trips to Mt Hood. The first was on the east side primarily in Badger Creek Wilderness, and the second on the southwest side all from Ramona Falls TH.
Weather and conditions were near perfect for both car camping trips.

Trip 1 – Badger Creek campground was Sherwood (NW side)
Tip 2 – Ramona Falls campground was Lost Creek (West side)
Lost Creek Campground is a ‘walkable’ campground with less than 1/2 mile to Ramona Falls TH. Sherwood CG on the other hand is a drivable campground with multiple trailheads less than 15 minutes drive away.
