Big Summit Herd

Wild horses and especially those from Big Summit Herd around Prinveville, OR are one of my new loves. They face a challenging future and daily existence as the US Government classifies them as ‘invasive species’ and cows, sheep and ranchers have priority. Another key tid-bit is that Big Summit Herd is the only wild horse herd managed by USFS, not BLM.

The only organization that I have found that seriously supports wild horses is American Wild Horse Conservation https://americanwildhorse.org/ … do what you can to help these wonderful creatures.
