Hot weather in the upper 80s lower 90s landed in the valley for a couple of days, so an early morning jaunt along Pre’s Trail seemed like a good idea. – All this walking right from my front door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The birds were out in force early before the heat. Merlin recorded songs 2x and each time was different. The first session had these birds – the Osprey I did not hear until I saw it listed and then listened more carefully<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second recording had different birds just a few minutes later – except that Robin is everywhere!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baby geese where plentiful and almost always following an adult closely<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great blue herons were nesting and if you look closely a baby is in the nest, and hunting \/ fishing took priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flowers were amazing and in all shapes, sizes and colors<\/p>\n\n\n\n
